LYLA IN THE LOOP is Mighty Picnic’s first original series for PBS KIDS. The series follows Lyla, a dynamic 7-year-old Black girl living in a bustling city with her close-knit family, her fantastical blue sidekick Stu, and a host of relatable community characters.
With Stu’s help, Lyla and her family use creative problem-solving and computational thinking skills to tackle everyday challenges, like fixing their morning routine so they can catch the school bus, learning the moves to the viral Carrot Cake Dance, or making the ultimate sandwich for their family-run diner, Loops Lunch.
